OXFORD KIRTAN 20 April 2025

Easter day and Oxford Tabla were delighted to be among friends at this beautiful kirtan event. Jaganatha Das, multi instrumentalist and vocalist had us spellbound with his beautiful decoration of the familiar Sanskrit mantras somehow giving them new life and renewed energy. He had with him his friend, Aditya, who is classically trained in Hindustani music and so we had some very interesting drumming and the sharing of ideas melodically as well as rhythmically between himself and Jaganatha Das. Aditya also decorated Jaganatha's kirtan singing with his own singing - a treat
