Oxfordtabla was really glad to be able to attend this amazing event. Despite the heatwave and the world cup many people attended including families and musicians from all levels - from newcomers to Indian music to those who have studied and practised for many years. Disciples of the gharana, senior tabla and sitar players, friends, and also neighbours all coming together to enjoy this unique experience where the listeners become a part of the unfolding musical conversation itself. They came from far away including London and Oxford and of course India
